Barnie the Owl, was elected as the mascot for a Shrine Club here in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. He came to live with us when his master moved from a house into an apartment.
Although I created an image of Barnie in the form of a stuffed toy, to me he is alive. I started to write about him after I witnessed the silent flight of a real owl through the woods behind our home. He lives and breathes like you and I. This compelled me to tell children about the Adventures of Barnie.
