Despite the painful reminder of last nights first lesson. His first full day is full of surprises. Barnie is anxious to learn and can hardly wait for the next lesson from his new found mentor. His head is full of questions. Impatiently waiting to have these questions answered. A surprise morning encounter with a strange animal in his new quarters surprises our friend Barnie. His curiosity about this strange creature needs to be addressed. He learns to wait. A taste of incredibly good tasting food invites Barnie to imitate the word he hears repeatedly. He resolves to learn to speak like the man who brought him to this place, faraway from the mountain. His new mentors explanations why he can’t do certain things because of his young age.
