Living side by side with the many different animals. I thought it to be of great importance to tell these stories in an easy to understand way. Leaving the dry and scientific description of our wildlife to encyclopedias. One early evening on a warm summer’s night I had the opportunity to observe the silent and graceful flight of a great horned owl. "Why not make that owl live here and tell of its adventures?", I said to myself. The idea was born to write short tales about Barnie and his adventures. What a lovely way to spin tales about our wonderful wildlife. Make life with nature’s creatures alive in easy to understand short stories that will inspire children.
